a smolly jolly christmas

In the run up to Christmas we're here to remind you that lots of wrapping paper isn't recyclable... and a whopping 114,000 tonnes of it gets thrown away in the UK at Christmas each year😱😩

Brown paper, on the other hand, is recyclable and much cheaper! Plus, it can still look beautiful under your Christmas tree🎄🎄🎄 If you want to jazz up your brown wrapping paper a bit, you can always use paint or stamps to bring a bit of colour to your pressies! (And, this can be a great Christmas craft to get the kids involved in… what’s sweeter than a gift wrapped in home decorated wrapping paper?)🎁🌈

Another giftwrapping challenge we face every year is trying to find a way to wrap those pesky smaller items… like the infamously hard-to-wrap socks. Why not try repurposing an old smol box? Simply put the smaller items in the box and voila! An easy to wrap box😍

Finally, if you’re feeling crafty, why not make your own gift tags? Our smol boxes have a lovely polka dot design on the inside, and they’d look great as gift tags on brown-paper-wrapped presents. Simply cut the card to size, (carefully!) cut a hole, and thread some string to secure.

Simple ways to save the planet this Christmas✨

Merry Christmas everyone!🎅✨
